The Intangible is the first film of the Auschwitz Trilogy and was released at Göteborg Konsthall 2012 and on the Internet simultaneously.
The film tells the story of how I realised I didn’t know much about something I was convinced of knowing a lot about: the machinery of killing of the Second World War. A visit to Auschwitz reveals the aesthetics of the nazism, my ignorance of the subject, and how the same systematic process of dehumanization is used today by different groups to justify new violations on human rights.
